In 2014, our founder made a bold decision to leave her job and start something new. While flipping through one of her father’s notebooks, she came across a single word, repeated over and over: “isla.” That word — simple and full of meaning — sparked the beginning of Isla Shades.
What started as a personal leap became a full design studio dedicated to creating made-to-measure window coverings with purpose, elegance, and precision. Today, we continue to grow, but that original spirit remains at the heart of everything we do.
